LAST ONE - Winter Woodsman Hand Puppet

Winter Woodsman Hand Puppet. Puppets are approximately 10” tall by 5” wide and come in 14x11” packaging.

The Winter Woodsman is, of course, inspired by the seminal Norwegian folk song of the same name that many of us are blessed to know. For those who don’t know or who, like many of us, were forced to memorize it phonetically in Norwegian, here is a translation of the lyrics. I’m not 100% on this, but I believe this is the same tune as PUSSY CATTY CAT by the Nazis From Mars.

THE WINTER WOODSMAN IS A BIG BLUE BEAR!

THE WINTER WOODSMAN LOOKS LIKE A BIG BLUE BEAR!

A lot of this is pretty tough to translate into English and it rhymes and flows a whole lot better in Norwegian, but it’s still a fun little tune!
